Boom. That just happened. It was exhausting chatting about it on Skype with dozens of poker players, but it was kind of a fun and insightful experience as well. People react so differently, it's quite interesting. In any case, we can't be certain what happens next. Sorry to all US players, hopefully we'll be able to play again together someday. For the rest of the world, it goes on. There's so little concrete knowledge, I guess we could take precautions (like keep more month expenses in cash).

Games seem to be good, there was still enough 27TD action and at least a twenty 100-200plo tables running at PS. I've been having a lot of fun playing more heads-up poker. It's just easier to get into people's heads and think about how and why they play how the play, how fast are they to react and adjust, etc. I've been having a hard time playing my A-game in PLO lately. I think it's because my mind thinks I should be crushing the games and so it's somewhat overly sensitive to triggers like misplaying a hand. I have to work on this as it's definitely what's most holding me back. I see the huge leaks in other players, I only need to play well and grind it out. I'm going to play max 2 tables for a while and practice increasing my self-awareness. Been doing well at 27TD, where I've also begun to enjoy playing some more heads-up.

Anyway, I can't help but be optimistic about the whole online poker situation, if only because being pessimistic is lame. I'm a happy dude, getting married in 6 months. :)
