For some reason or other, just today I learned about the Jason Ho scam, the Stoxtrader multi-tabling/collusion accusation, and the Brian Townsend-Isildur1 suspension and past multi-account stuff. I also finally read the cliff notes from a few of the classic scandals from a few years back, including the fairly recent ‘scammers crushing HSNL’ thread.
I wish I hadn’t stumbled unto all that crap because I’m sure I can think of a hundred much more +EV ways to spend my time. Anyway, just wanted to say it’s really a shame what people will do for money. Cheating at poker is pretty pathetic and scamming people is just crazy. I really don’t understand how someone does that, not just once but repeatedly, day after day, hand after hand. There’s just something really wrong there. Anyway, I feel like there’s a huge amount of admiration and trust from the DC community to our coaches. I really hope not one of them is ever involved in shady crap like what I read today, it’d just be really retarded.
Anyway, I like this part of the week. Just saw The Office and I’ll watch Whitelime PLO later today. For now I’ll eat this delicious shrimp taco I found in the fridge. Peace!
