My DVD Collection

So I had written a short blog post about how I ran like shit yesterday, published it and then decided to just delete it and move on about it. Instead, I’ll tell you guys about my DVD collection, which consists of 90% comedies. Now, I don’t like all comedies of course, but here’s my list. If you’ve seen these movies and know of some others I should buy/watch, let me know. If you also like these comedies, congratulations, you are also cool.

Peace!

Nice list. I like most of those, but some notsomuch.

On the non-comedy tip, going by your list you might like to check out "The Squid and The Whale" as well as "Punch Drunk Love", and maybe "Broken Flowers" too.

The Squid and The Whale was pretty good, liked it a lot. I will check out those others, thanks. :)

I know some of the movies in my list don't even compare to some of the classics, but I put them all in there anyways. I've now added Little Miss Sunshine and, probably my favorite Will Ferrell movie, Talladega Nights. After all my FTP username is based on that movie.

Some more recommendations that are similar to your list:

Ben Stiller: There's Something About Mary
Eddie Murphy: Beverly Hills Cop, Shrek
Bill Murray: Caddyshack, Groundhog Day
Mike Myers: Austin Powers, Wayne's World, Shrek
A Fish Called Wanda
Robin Williams: Mrs. Doubtfire, Death to Smoochy, Man of the Year
Zombieland

About "Lost In Translation": awesome movie and a great ScarJo vehicle, but I wouldn't call it a comedy. Billy Murray does crack one good joke in it, though.

Thanks, man. Of those I have never seen Caddyshack or A Fish Called Wanda, I'll definitely check them out.

On Lost in Translation I laugh considerably when I see the awkwardness of some of the stuff BM goes through like the photo shoot and the TV show. I don't know, I guess it's a kind of drama-comedy, I'll give you that.

I definitely need to get There's Something About Mary. I also need to re-watch Groundhog Day, haven't seen that in years! I did get Zombieland a few weeks ago. :)
