Poker and Movies
So, today was very swingy. I think I wasn’t playing optimally but I’m pretty sure I lost more flips than what I won. The river was pretty brutal as well, I got overset/overboat a few times and the board seemed to pair a lot when I had a straight or flush. Fortunately most opponents checked to me and I didn’t lose that much money calling off bets. Can’t complain though, I’m still up more than 1k in the last 10 days and I haven’t been playing that much.
I saw two good movies this time when I was in Austin. I saw Kickass at the cinema, which was enjoyable. I also saw a movie by the same director called Layer Cake. Now that movie is the shit. Also good ones I’ve seen these last couple of months: Old Boy, The Fall, Leon The Professional. It’s not often I watch action or drama movies, but these ones were pretty good. 90% of my DVDs are comedy. Oh, I also read where Kenny Powers is going in the 2nd season of Eastbound and Down. Man, I can’t wait for that to start.

I was in Austin myself past weekend. Much greener than Dallas.

I live in Monterrey Mexico. It's about a 6-7 hour drive. Yeah, Austin is pretty green and it has a nice walkability. I'm really falling in love with that city, might have to move there.
