What do you expect when he's paid a paultry wage of £20,000 a week? I mean it's not as if we teach goalkeepers to get their bodies behind the ball when they're 9 or anything....oh wait.
Have you noticed how Rooney is the only England player who doesn't run with his head down and can actually pick out a pass?

US look dangerous from set pieces but were mainly limited to pot shots which at international level should be enough to keep them out.
England showed a couple of moments of quality and the US defense looks shaky at best but England's defense and ability to self-destruct is legendary.
At the moment if nothing changed 2nd half performance wise I'd say 1-1 would be a fair scoreline tbh.
