I can understand someone buying in for 50 bets maybe 100 max but buying in for that amount just screams insecurity to me. Really in a limit game as long as you have enough on the table to cap every street that is sufficient. The other thing I have noticed lately is people buying in short, maybe I am missing something but I don't understand the point. I guess it removes the reverse implied odds problem with a rough draw if they are all in after the second draw.
