I think the best way to snow this hand was to draw one and then pat it. I couldn’t help myself I had to show it down. For some reason after I showed it down my opponents thought that I had a high bluffing frequency and paid me off.

I love doing this, though I've only had exactly quad 2s once ever.

FWIW I prefer to pat this hand down when snowing. The reason is this:

For balancing reasons I need to have some sort of pre-draw snow range, and what better hand to do it with something that makes up a small part of your range, has blockers and has almost no draw equity.

The hands that I use for balance when I draw one then pat, I usually give myself a chance to make something with those hands (seeing as I'm drawing one once), so I do it with a rough 1 card draw like 7543 in position and turn it into snows when I catch a 6 or some pairs or something. That way, I have created a good balanced pat range for all my hands I drew 1 with pre-draw, but I also gave myself the chance to catch a 2 or an 8 to make the nuts or a decent pat hand.

To be honest though, this kind of mathematical precision is unnecessary at most stakes, but it's just a general style thing for me.
