Building my Bankroll
My goal for the rest of this year is to build a bankroll from playing micro-stakes Triple Draw cash games. My 3rd place in a $1.10 tourney has paid for my 6 month DC subscription so I will have to get busy building a bankroll.
Why Did I Start Playing Poker?Unlike many others I don’t have an exciting poker story to share with you all. I kind of fell into poker after I had some serious health issues that prevented me from working. Basically my immune system is attacking my lungs, liver, tendons and joints. The doctors still can’t agree on the best way forward as the usual treatments are ineffective. I guess the upside is I have a lot of time on my hands just no $$$. I have been playing for about one year however it is only in the last 2 months I have taken it seriously. My Education
I studied Computer Science and Economics at the University of Adelaide graduating in 2007. My particular interests lie in game theory and artificial intelligence and evolutionary algorithms. I mainly program in C, C++ and Java (if I have to), I am also learning Objective C to write some poker applications for Mac and iPhone. My former university pictured below:

Great experience would recommend college to anyone no matter how good a poker player they are. Now if only I could find a way to pay back my $25,000 student loan I would be set.
Where I am at NowIn the past I have jumped from game to game with no structure however in the last 2 months I have shifted my focus solely to triple draw. I really want to learn one game well before I move on. I understand about pot odds, implied odds and reverse implied odds and most of the fundamentals of the game. Below is the graph of the last 2 months:
I am playing the micro-stakes and when I have a minimum of $1000 in my account I will move up to $1-$2. This month I have played a few sessions at $1-2 and $0.5-$1 the games are still very soft however the swings have more of an effect on my limited bankroll. So I think the smart thing to do will be to build a bit more padding into my bankroll before I move up. Below is the hands I have played this month: (Notice: the swings, Triple draw is so much fun)

In order to improve my game I will try and do a session review after each session and post it here. If there are any hands I am struggling with I will post them to the forum. I will keep learning the game and looking out for any new Triple Draw videos.
