Finally getting eaten alive
I moved up to $.50/$1 yesterday and finally met the sharks I was worried about. They ate most of the chips I’d accrued this month in a few big CHOMPs.
Between having no hands hold up at showdown (I’ll spare you the bad beat stories :) ), and getting pwned by more aggressive players betting and re-raising each other – forcing me out of pots, this month is suddenly not looking so sweet.
I made some money out of the bad players when I found them, but the money didn’t stay in my stack for long. I ended up losing at a rate of -7.80 BB/100 over 783 hands.
Quite an achievement I think and one that means I’ll be forced to move back to .25/.50 if I lose just another 40BB if I don’t go back sooner.
In terms of the rakeback challenge, I reckon I’ve earnt maybe $30 so assuming I don’t go broke I’m still in with a chance of hitting the $50 target.
