So, I just finished my first session on RPM. I have to say, the site itself doesn't seem too bad, except for the fact that there isn't any type of rakeback. I guess I could have set something up through DC, but being that I play on a Mac, I don't think it's possible. Basically, it's going to make for a longer time in the micros, but seeing how I only put $25 on there, I think I'm going to be grinding $4NL for a while as it is. :)
Anyway, I just put in about 700ish hands in tonight. I'm only 2-tabling, so I'm not going to be able to put in too much volume. I figured with the fact that I'm not earning rakeback at all, then I should focus more on reads and ranges to increase my win rate. Speaking of win rate, I finished up $9.49 for the night or 16.68/100 bb. :) I know, only 700 hands, but it was good to play well coming out of the gates. It would have been even better if I hadn't lost two buy-ins at the very end of the night to a 67/67 shove nazi. I got involved in three pots with him. The first was when I held QQ vs his 87o and flopped quads. I love flopping a no-sweat winner. Then two hands later I got it in pre with AKhh vs 52 and of course he binked a 2 on the river to win that one. Then about five hands later we got it in again with 66 vs his AQ. He flopped trips and that was it...he bounced. Luckily for me, right before I hung it up for the night I hit quad aces vs villain's KK. :)
So that's all I have to report for tonight. Hopefully, this blog will help me remained focused and not tilt/donk off what I have online. I really don't want to have to reload so here's to nothing! I also hope that it helps me get in touch with the DC community. I posted some hands from tonight and made some posts on others. I've been lurking around for a little bit, but finally decided to take things seriously. I look forward to getting to know everyone and talking more pokerz in the future!!
