Still going up

Up by 690BB, yeah!!!!! I had my best victory on saturday morning’s session. Lost 25BB. So why a victory? After 20 minutes into the session, and thanks to “The eightfold path to Poker enlightment”, I realized I was in my C game. Isn’t that great? You suck and you know you suck, so you still suck but you suck less just by knowing you suck. Saturday was my last day 2 tabling. So I immediately checked both “sitout next blind”. But after one hand, I unclicked. Lets reassess this. Losses so far: 30BB, big deal. two flops X-X-whatever and the guy I isoed had K-X, A-X. Tables: table 1, aggro to my left, let’s get outta there, table 2, fine. Concentration: ups!!! not much, cuban coffee not doing its job. Let’s play another 20 minutes and we’ll see. 50BB down, big deal but I am really in my C game. Last orbit. Dealt a pair of red nines, flop comes all diamond, the turn, another diamond gives me 3rd flush and villain, a straight ace high with no diamond in his hand. Don’t know why he bet the river. So yes, it was a victory. I got out in time.

Last session of the week was not that great but no disaster. 3 tabling for second time with a vpip of 23 on table 1, 26 on table 2 and 30 on table 3. That means that I ended up playing 3 tables at the same time a lot. I might have screwed up a few hands but I am keeping this review for tonight’s coaching session.

Here is a memorable hand

Here is a scary hand. Kids, don’t do this at home. I sure won’t do it again.
Villain had been 3betting almost every time I tried to iso a weak player, obviously aware of this. Time to teach him a lesson. lol because for some reason, I completely ommited the fact that he could have a hand.

Plans for this week: Finishing elements of poker, finally got it (why does a book need 2 weeks to travel from California to Montreal, Canada? Gas is expensive these days, may they went back to using horses). Finishing the video serie “Coaching tree”. And finally, I really need to do more “hand reading practice”. 10 hands a week is really not enough.
