Introductory Post + goals.
Hi All,
I’ve decided to create a blog to track my progress so that way when I look back I can see how I got to where I hopefully will be. I thought about using the blog as a way of keeping myself accountable, but knowing myself, it won’t matter. I’ll either do it or I won’t. Luckily, accountability isnt a problem due to the fact that I have the drive and passion to do these things.
Just a quick note about my playing and where I’m at. I’m currently at 10NL(yea funsauce!!) and almost rolled for another shot at 25NL. I have been playing since October/November and I feel that I’m crushing 10nl and am not concerned about the difficulty of 25NL. I just need to get my bank roll up so I can take my shot. I’ve received coaching from two DC coaches, but I’m currently working w/Phoinix. I can’t say enough good things about working with Phoinix. The guy is seriously the nuts when it comes to coachin imo. Though don’t call him ‘sir’ or he’ll spaz out on you.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOALLLS
I’m pretty good at setting goals for myself as to whether I complete those goals within the time I give myself is another thing all together. I usually complete a majority, but I can become flakey at time. Honeslty, I really suck at structure so to be so obsessed with goals and always setting goals is definitely a weird trait for me to have. Anyways, on to the goals of the week and month.
Monthly Goals
-Play 15-20k hands. Last month I only got 8k in, but was in Vegas for 5 days and I also work fulltime and also have an SO
