The Part Where I Light a Fire Under my Ass

and by that I mean I'm actually sick :(, I'm assuming it's from traveling but who knows, seemed like I was due to get sick, hadn't been in awhile.

I got back from Portland a few days ago. Had a blast and ended up not even playing the tournament. Mostly just hung out with my soon to be roommate. Ate food that was new for me including a ridiculously good berry pie and a $9 smoothie. Saw some Japanese Gardens that were apparently ranked as some of the best in the world. It was kind of amazing how just walking through a place like that instantly relaxes you. Would be sweet to have in your backyard. One of the nights I LOL'd the hardest I can remember in a long time while sweating one of my friends 2 tabling .1/.2cent at like 5am in our hotel room. Let's just say he's an inexperienced player, but anyway he accidentally goes all in with J3s UTG, gets call by A4o and the board runs out JxxQA and my stomach actually hurt from laughing so hard at our roller coaster of emotion that resulted in losing $2. You had to be there :) On the last day when we were killing time waiting for our flight we went to a mall. I found the most absurd massage chair ever and I'm seriously contemplating buying it for 4k. I literally did not want to get out of the thing. 

On the flight back I was planning on trying to baller-upgrade myself to first class. So I go up to the desk and ask the guy to check how much it would cost me. "$1200 sir" and I sheepishly turn around and walk away lol. Turns out I am not a baller. 

Hopefully I'll feel better by Saturday at the latest and can get back on both the poker grind and the school grind.
