heeeeeeeyo
:insert intro here:
My wrist has been hurting lately :( I can only assume it's from grindin' dem pokerz. Has anyone had this happen before? Anyone have suggestions for helping cure it?
At this point I think it's almost certain I'll be moving to LA in January, which I'm really excited about. I think a lot of the negatives that come with going for Supernova Elite will be lessened by living with a friend who is also going for it. We'll be able to help keep each other sharp and bitch about how bad we're running ;) This weekend I'm going to GP: Portland (a Magic: The Gathering tournament) to meet my future roommate in real life :O I'm not even sure if I'm going to play in the tournament, I might just hang out and also try to meet up with my aunt/uncle that live out there for dinner or something.
Took a little shot at 3/6 earlier this week. I had the jesus seat on one of the biggest fish I've ever seen for about 20 minutes. Flopped no pairs and then made a "scared money" fold w/ AQ so nothing exciting really happened.
t-t-t-t-that's all!
I'll probably write up a little trip report once I get back from Portland.

Take a lot of breaks, have good posture, wrist height/position.
Early welcome to LA, good live poker here.

If your chair has an armrest adjust the height of your seat so your arm is the same height as your mouse pad. This keeps the arm relatively flat with no upward or downward kinks in the wrist. You can also try resting your whole arm below your elbow on the desk the mousepad sits on.
If for what ever reason you don't have table ninja get it. The hotkeys and preset bet amounts will save your mouse hand thousands of clicks a day.
I had this problem and it went away when I played with my wrist striaght with no kinks.
Im also conteplating SNE next year. Good Luck!

I have this mouse tray that attaches to the arm of your computer chair...forget what it's called, but Jen Harmen endorses it, so you could do a search. Looks like the starship Enterprise. Helped me a bit with the wrist problems. Lucky you for going to Portland Magic! I'll be going to the one in Toronto next month! :)
