Mid-July Update

Hi readers :)

Just posting a quick update since I haven't posted in awhile. I decided not to go to Vegas with my roommates, for no particular reason, just not really sure if it's my type of place. I'll save my main event win for next year ;) .

So far I've played about 12k hands and it's kind of a double edged sword so far. I honestly feel like I'm playing really really well just 6ish tabling and focusing a lot, but I'm down a bit. Not sure how much but HEM says I'm down a little over 4k in all in ev. Meh not gonna worry too much about it. One thing I think I've been improving a lot on so far this month is my preflop game against regulars. Just 6 tabling it's a lot easier to find the spots where 3/4/5betting is extremely profitable.

This hand is probably pretty obvious to some of you, but just as an example:

in before "COOL STORY BRO A 4BET BLUFF WORKED"

But seriously: Villain is a really good midstakes reg, SB is a fish, and BB (at least so far) seems super spewy/aggro. I actually think unless villain is planning on 5bet bluffing his 3bet is ABSURDLY bad (if he's bluffing.) In this exact situation I would probably 4bet bluff almost 100% just because his 3bet is so non-credible given that SB is fishy (he'll want to let him in the pot with his strong hands) and BB seems really spewy preflop (he can let him squeeze.)

So meh, not a very interesting hand, but playing fewer tables I feel like has allowed me to 3/4/and 5 bet with a lot more success by paying more attention to table dynamics rather and just basically looking at my hand, seeing I have blockers, and hoping my 4bet bluff works.
