My results - I think I jinxed myself :(

Since I started this blog, I have not had a winning day. I'm not superstitious, so I will keep posting.

Here a picture of my results so far:

Mostly PLO10 and some PLO15 when there isn't enough tables running. So far this is my biggest downswing buyin wise. I have lost bigger numbers before, but not that many buyins - and not in that few hands. That's disappointing when I think about all the time I have out into improving so far. Over these 2 weeks, I have watched nearly 2 series - and I can feel my game has improved. But the results will (hopefully) come later. The worst thing about it, is that I find myself not playing my A-game after the first 30-45 mins, and have to leave because of that. I find myself searching on youtube - things I used to do, when I started out with NLHE, but had overcome. or I though I had...

discipline!

As a result of my run bad, I will take an early weekend. Instead I will try to get ahead in school, as I can see, all of my teachers want an assignment before Christmas -  nice planning :(

Saturday my volley team have an away game - that's nearly ten hours transport :( And on Sunday, me and my brother is going to the new Harry Potter movie.

Have a nice week

Its not a run bad its just your mindset adjusting to the new influx of information.

It could also be possible that because you have this new information you are ignoring what you have already learned.

You may feel entitled now that you have new information to run players over which also may translate into you playing worse.

Ever since starting this blog you may have also changed your mindset. Look for indicators in your everyday life that you may be getting lazy or complacent, catch them and turn them around. I think studying for school is a good start. Try something slightly different to get some confidence and momentum back into your life.

I wouldn't blame it on run bad thats kind of a cop out. Theres a lot more you can adjust before jumping to the conclusion of running bad. Don't be so quick to do this in the future.

Thank you for your comment. I am thinking about all the different parameters. In my everyday life, I am thinking about how I improve and peak when I play poker. I know that that the variance isn't the only problem, ells I wouldn't be stuck at this limit :P But I must admit, that I still think i'm running bad. It's not to whine about every bad beat I recieve, but to see that some of the decisions I have made, have been right even though the results was negative.
