Poker Career

Hi guys!

It's been a long time since the last post, 6 months since my last post. Many things happen during this period, I am a slightly winner player nowadays, I finally put my Sharkscope graphic on the positive line. I had 2 major cashes on MTT's, one in the Sunday 1/4 million (about $130) and other on the $22 NLH SCOOP event 20 (about $140).

Besides that, I grinded a lot of STT's on the $1 buy in level and this month I am currently grinding the $3 buy in level on Pokerstars. I have a positive ROI on both buy in level games but still a long way to go.

My main focus are the STT's games and also HU games, but on heads-up I am learning how to play optimal. I also enjoy MTT's but I do not grind so much because they take too much time to make ITM and much more time to make a decent ITM, anyway I will play them occasionally.

I havent update this blog, my main blog is on blogspot. Anyway just to say that I am currently determined to turn my things over abou my profit graphic on sharkcope at pokerstars (on Betclick I have less games but I am profitable).

My strategy is to play DoNs and some 9s SNG’s and MTT’s. Pokerstars have some great features to 2010, so it is going to be a great year to Pokerstars players.

I am playing SNG’s of 90 players, played more than 50 games and I have a positive ROI on them. I am facing some bad beats latelly and I am on a 8 games stretch without cashing. I will continue to play them and try to not let emotions take control of my game.

This month is ending and I am very happy with my performance.
Right now I have a 14% positive ROI on the $1.20 SNG’s of 9 players (9s) at pokerstars.
Not much volume, I only played about 36 of these games, so if I increase my volume I can get much better results.

Let’s see how the next month will be, I will continue to play these games and taking a shots on the $5. I will also return to MTT’s next month. I played them on the past with some ITM places. I have more knowledge now to play them so I will play ocasionally.

Hi everybody. I have been studying the SNG strategy this week and I will continue to next week with more study.
My SNG strategy study has the following areas:
- DC Videos
- SNG Book (SNG Strategy by Moshman)
- Articles and Forums strategy about SNG
- Reviewing my SNG sessions to identify some leaks
- Posting hands on the Forum.

Last week I finished the 4th episode of the Last Man Standing. Next week I will try to watch episode 5 and 6.
On the real life of a micro SNG grinder I watched the episode nr. 3. I will try to watch the Nr. 4 next week.

After a positive 3 digits ROI% on the $1.20 SNG (9 players), I decided to try the $3.40. I did not started very weel, lost the first 2 games and finally, about 5 minutes ago, I made 3rd place.

The game is not very similar to the $1.20 but the reward is much better.

September was one of the months that I played less poker, in exchange I spent more time studying the game. Until the end of the year I will continue to play and study the game.

After grinding a lot in August on cash games at micro and low stakes LHEM i finally reached Silverstar on Pokerstars.
It was not easy, there were night i only sleep 4.5/6 hours but i did and i learn a lot with this process.
