all these hands were against the same villain, obviously we had a bit of a dynamic.  when we were 100bb deep it was basically a race for him to get his stack in the middle, so I wasstacking lightly too, and that caused us to get really really deep.  weeee.

I went to Las Vegas with a friend of mine and his high roller boss and stayed in an awesome suite and didn't pay for anything during the trip (food, etc)

Some fun stories:  I played some 10/20 LHE with Hal Lubarsky, who is famous for being a blind player.  He played ok.

I was walking the strip at 3am and saw a stagette wandering, and the bride was topless.

I played a bunch of hands that I wrote down, but I ahve a couple situations that came up that i'll just discuss.  one, i think i folded a chop in a run it twice situation.  I had all red 9987 on a A96 flop.  I got allin vs AAxx, and the board made a red flush,  I didn't really notice and folded, obviously there is a 5050 chance that I had the flush and should have had half the pot.  another day the opposite happened where I got half a pot that I'm not sure I deserved, where I made a straight and villain may have made a bigger straight (he had a set) but the dealer and the floor didn't say anything, and there was some commotion because a 3rd player who tank folded the flop would have made a flush in both halves.  I dunno.  The world works out that way i guess.

I played some live poker in Vancouver, and am heading back over there today for an allnighter with a few friends.  There is a 9/18 LHE game that runs on friday nights, so i plan to crush it for a bit.

As far as poker goes, I've given up on HUPLO for a while.  I don't think i have what it takes to be a big bet player.  I've been playing TD the last 2 weeks, and the limit structure of a game just makes sense to me.  I like it so much better.  The hu game is really interesting, and people seem to play pretty badly.  I'm obviously not really winning yet, but i'm still learning, and I luckily have some really good TD minds to ask questions of all the time whenever i'm concerned about a play.

This was a really rushed update, sorry.  If there is interest in me going through some of the live plo hands i played either in vegas or in vancouver, shoot a comment and i'll toss a post out with a bunch of hands and my analysis of why i did the things i did.

Sick rake in that 3rd hand. No wonder you had to take a break from HUPLO

siide: i think the converter screwed up the money that he was supposed to get back after he went all in =)

bigvee: edgewater is good. are you going to be playing plo? they have a 1/2/5bringin game with a 200min buyin that plays big and crazy, and the players are obviously pretty bad. enjoy
