Frigile Future

What It Do DC?

Life’s been rolling on for me the last few days. I got violently ill on monday night to the point that I’m pretty sure i’ve never been that sick before in my life. I may have had food poisoning, and i was in the bathroom purging all the fluids/solids from my body every 15 minutes from 11pm until 7am the next morning. it was pretty awful.

Needless to say I didnt get a lot of poker in.

I played some yesterday and had a frustrating session against a player i felt had a significant leak that made him pretty profitable to play.
He played well until the river, but once he got there he was suuuuppper passive and weak. if he didnt have top pair+ or a bluff he was checking. so it made him kinda easy to play against… it just didnt turn out the way i wanted it to, i dunno. i posted the hands here

This month has been a struggle, as I’ve been more or less break even for the entire month over my 6.5k hands (a reasonable amount played for me given that i mostly 1 table and there is a fair amount of wait time) Hopefully things kick into high gear the next little bit and I can make some changes to get some wins.

If anyone wants to session review or sweat session with me, send me a pm and perhaps you can help me out!

anyways, im going to go back to my new passion: watching streams of good starcraft2 beta players. my favourites are LzGaMeR, Orb-, Goatrope, Day9], and then the tournament casting steams

It’s a pretty guilty pleasure imo, but it helps pass the time while i wait for action.

Take it easy,

LQ

Whoa!
I have always been scared of reading that book.

Wishing you quick recovery....

Thanks Buzz. the book is pretty heady, but they talk about a lot of 'toy' games to explain concepts which helps a lot.

I don't read the math too closely, truth be told. I try to just understand the lesson that is being taught. check it out though... its worth getting in over your head a bit.
