What It Do DC?

It’s been a little while since I’ve been blogging.

I finished March as the best poker month I’ve ever had. So that was pretty nice. I made a couple posts on the forums about how I was disapointed in taking a reasonably big hit at the end of the month that kept me from having far and away my best month to limping in with my best month. I’m over that now, but at the time I was a little saddened about it.

This month has been a supreme struggle, as I have been hovering around breakeven all month. I havent had a couple breakout days to make my month a success (yet).

I feel like there are some leaks developing in my game, and I need to think about them and try to work them out. I also could probably use someone to take a look at my game for a bit to see if what I think is wrong is actually wrong.

I created an Ask Me A Question thread to commemorate my 1k post. It is something like a well, so if you want to know something about my poker career or life career or whatever, fire away.

I also created an entry into the "Invent a Series ":http://www.deucescracked.com/forums/7-Research-Development-/topics/134181—Festival-CONTEST-Invent-#posts-1087931 contest. My entry is a HUPLO grinder type series. I’m against 4 other good choices, one a Rake series discussing the impact of rake on our game and how to maximize our rakeback etc. Another is running equities and poker situations that looks really interesting, and then two from SirSpider on PLO. One on Rush and the other on HUPLO sngs. I think if any of these series gets made it will be a great addition to the DC libary
My feelings on how the contest will end up being judged, as top 2 will get awarded, are that they will pick one PLO series and one ‘other’ series to be the winners. I believe that since SirSpider put in two entries they will end up awarding him the prize for the PLO. Likely for the Rush video. I obviously hope i win, but i feel like that will be how it rolls out. It’s kind of too bad, as I think a HUPLO series is needed at DC.

I’ve also been involved in a couple HU4Avatars props in the last week. I won my first against DelCrossB, who is now supporting the Canucks for the next month, and lost my other to SirSpider in a tough HUPLO sng match. I was up 4800-1200 in the final game and couldnt close it out. I was sporting his monkey avatar for a few days, but he decided it was too creepy, so now I am back to the nucks logo for the playoffs and he’ll choose something else afterwards.

Anyways, Thats all for now.
I’m going to keep this updated more often i think.
