I'm loving PLO.  I figured out that I really just like to gamble.  I find it difficult finding the fold button in hold em.  I tend to get stacks in wayy too light. In PLO, with the way equities run so close together, I always have a shot at winning.  I'm loving it!

I'm expecting all that EV to catch up with me eventually.  But until it does, I'm gonna enjoy the ride. 

No Limit has been pretty frustrating lately.  Decided to give Omaha a shot.  Gotta say, I'm loving it.  The variance is crazy, but it's really not as tilting as in Hold Em.  It may be because I'm still pretty new to the game and don't understand the variance, but it's been fun.  Here's a graph of my play today.    Gotta love the EV graph.  It's so pointless.  Most of the gap comes from getting it in as a 60-40.  I have to admit though, there was one hand where I was a 90% dog and got there.  Pretty tough to do that in Omaha :-)

I love this game.

The graph pretty much says it all.  Couldn't really get any momentum and wasn't playing well to boot.

So, for the 50k Challenge, I decided I would 2-table the rush games and play with a 4 BI bankroll.  Almost ended before it even began.

The All-In EV doesn't even show the coolers.  I was set-over-setted . . . twice.  It was an ugly day.  To be fair, there were a couple hands I could have spewed less on but I'm just happy to still be in it.

This is my first post on DC. I have a blog on CR but I stopped paying for a subscription there once CTS and Rugby jumped ship. What are you gonna do?

I've been playing poker for about 5 years now. Stakes range from 10NL to 100NL. I play primarily 6max but I'm a HU junky. Can't get enough of it. Never mind that I have a habit of blasting off half my bankroll in a night when I tilt against some drooler. Thems the breaks.

I jumped into the 50k Challenge here on DC and thought it might be nice to start a blog here also to track all my awesomeness.

I can't say it will be pretty, but it should be entertaining. The challenge doesn't officially start until Dec 1st, so I'm going to be warming up for it by grinding 9 tables of 10NL. Until then. . .
