July, Keep it Movin'

June has passed and it’s been a pretty good month. I didn’t get in quite as much volume as I hoped but that should change in the next 31. My winrate thus far is higher than expected at 50 NL and I think it’s because I’m not even paying attention to it. I used to be so obsessed with stats and my win rate. Lately I’m just playing my cards the best I can. I’ve ID’d 2-3 huge leaks that I had over the past few months.

1. I didn’t play near where loose enough in LP, if the blinds are tight and don’t play back I need to be in with nearly any 2, assuming its folded to me.
2. I fold too damn much, I used to build big pots up until the Turn/River and then look for some reason to bail, no more.
3. I was weeeeeak sauce on the river, I was so scared to value own myself against these loose players when I didn’t improve my one pair that I was missing massive amounts of value.

Goals for July:

[ ] 50,000 hands FRNLHE at 50 or (gasp!) 100 NL
[ ] Watch 15 DC videos
[ ] Finish SS NLHE E-Book
[ ] Review 10 hands per session (without continuous improvement I might as well dust off the golf bag and at least get some sun)

[ ] 28 days of PSMF, not really poker related, but on second thought it definitely is. Meh don’t really feel like writing about this All I can say is Lyle is logical and makes sense in a industry of confusion.

RIP Michael Jackson, the first album I ever bought was Dangerous. I was 9, right between the talented and wierd MJ stages. No question he had a huge influence on Hip-Hop and I’m sure all forms of music, def rocked well….It Ain’t Hard to Tell
