33.3333333333…..% of the way, at least month wise. Behind on all my yearly goals but I can’t really complain, I’m winning, playing ok, and life is pretty good right now.

Finished with a volume motivation bet this month and man I am starting to get it as far as why people, good players even, can get really upset at this game. Playing poker when you don’t want to is STRESSFUL. I found myself getting mad at the stupidest little things.

It didn’t help that a majority of the hands were at RUSH poker, which is by far the strangest game I’ve ever played. So many hands I played there are just so far away from the norm. One second I’m considering pot controlling a set, the next I’m calling an all-in 70 BB shove with AKo unimproved and having the best hand. If I wasn’t lazy I’d post hand histories but I don’t feel like digging them up.

For the rest of the year it’s going to be more 200 NL plus, more PLO/HU/and tournament poker. I’ve been saying that forever but eventually I’ll get into playing more games. More posting, videos, and learning, more of the same I guess. Nothing exciting to report.

I might try to play the Heartland Poker Tour event here in MI at the end of this month or at least take a shot at a satellite. Don’t know if I really want to deal with tournaments in general, I’m not that good at them and always feel depressed when I bust. Maybe a $1k at the WSOP but it’s still up in the air. If I do go to Vegas I want to take a week and just grind cash/sattelites/pokerpokerpoker and very little drinking my face off. I know as soon as I see the coverage I’ll be wishing I was at the RIO walking around. So maybe I’ll be there no matter what.

Rap music has been a little bit better lately. Eminem’s new single is terrible as expected. It hurts even more when he releases freestyles like this, Despicable This is the raw “leave you in a trashcan with more holes than an afghan” type spitting. Its frustrating to hear him coast and release radio junk.

This is by far my favorite video I’ve seen in a while White – Code Name It’s funny because I was just bitching about cars/money/hoes type videos last post. Difference, that was a poker player, this is rap. I don’t feel like explaining the difference completely, this is more realistic even though I don’t take it seriously. Whatever, I’m not turning this into a Gucci Mane apologist type post, I like it, that’s it. Besides, with lines like “I made a lot of money in the dope game, then I put it all in my damn chain” how can you hate?
