afternoon delight
Checking in. Woke up and had a fabulous morning. Made it to yoga and got all mindful. Yesterday I got 2 hours of writing on the Queen in and learned some valuable lessons about how to suck at writing comics. So I'm on my way to web comic stardom. I can't sit down to write for another cpl hours, but I've got a 5 hour block to hack away at in the afternoon. Right now I'm dealing with a BOOMERGENCY--we're out shooting some pickup interviews and I've got some last minute producing to do.
Yeah... that's it for now. This post is just to keep my mind in the mix. You know how it goes. I will post a more writerly update on the Queen after I finish today's session...
PS Creative Grinders Ep 8 is out today, with shuttle and sjaak. It's worth checking out--we have a discussion about the difference between taking a theoretical approach to poker vs jumping in to games and learning intuitively. There are cool metaphors for how to look at hands. There is laughing. There is an Australian!

I was originally not planning on watching Ep. 8 of CG but when I read there was an Aussie, that changed everything.
