checking in w HULK Screenwriting 101
I have seen The Avengers 3 times. So that's what I've been doing. Who would have ever thought a Joss Whedon movie would own the record for biggest opening weekend? It's like my favorite band just got discovered.
Anyhow--this incredible film/tv/culture blogger called FILMCRITHULK wrote an awesome ebook length 2-part article about screenwriting. It's a great read if you're at all interested in this stuff, though you should know that he writes ALL CAPS IN THE VOICE OF THE HULK. So it takes some getting used to.

I have been slacking. This week I want to make some significant progress. By the end of the day on Friday I'd like to have character sketches for all the major characters and a rough outline of the whole thing. 3-4 weeks from now I'd like to be doing the screenwriting smashy. So this month I need to do a lot more prep writing, and a lot of research and reading and watching of things.
