Day 5

Two sides of this day. I did slack a bit, i did not manage to get in the hours i should be getting in. I definitly need to find the discipline to play right after eating breakfast when im at my mental daily peak and then finish of the day with a couple of hours later by the night. Next week is the week where time managment will be perfected.

That being said i did get in some hours and i played very well i feel. I can only come up with one or two hands in my head where i played suboptimal and i feel like the mistakes were minor. I definitly got semi-tilted a few times just because a few hands were very close calls but i managed to either get myself together or take a small break and reset my mind. Which is definitly good. Havent posted a single hand history so far so i guess now is a good a time as any. Bad beats dont interest me, close calls do. So here we go:

Villain was new on the table but had doubled up earlier by coldcalling K9s and then overbet shove the turn when it turned into trips for no good reason. So he was definitly some breed of donk.

After some discussion with my coach i feel both hands are definitly close with the first one probably being to close. A good point made by him was that even if we assume the situation is slightly +ev in a vaccum we lose the opportunity to play a donk deep in position the times he is ahead. Whick probably makes it a fold on the turn.

Other then grinding it out a bit i watched another episode of pr1nnyraiding. So far i have watched the first three episodes which i feel have been a bit to basic to be interesting. I also cheated and fast forwarded to the last two episodes. Those on the other hand where definitly entertaining. Seeing Krantz putting a player on 3 specific hands by the river in a matter of seconds is definitly motivating. Once i got up to a level of 6-max where i can comfortable jump to 200nl hu im definitly gonna give it a shot if nothing else for some variation. Getting better at 6max it seems like then next logical step as to where i should put my training since alot of the higher stakes stuff boils down to psychology and leveling anyways. Anyways, its definitly time to get to bed by now. Gonna work out for the first time since christmas tomorrow so gonna need my sleep.
