A few hands reviewed

Hand Analysis
My HEM is not working, so these are screenshots of hands that I want to write my thoughts on. Any comments appreciated!

Hand History 1

This hand was awesome and goes to show that patience is sometimes required and the regulars will spew big time. Me and the Villain are playing together quite often, often on all 6 of my tables that I am playing. When he has position on me, he really does apply pressure and I haven’t done a good enough job of spotting any of his tells. We have stacked each other numerous times, but he probably has the upper hand on me as a whole. This session he had been owning me alot, and I couldn’t find any spots to let him know I can play back…then this hand popped up. I probably played it badly, but I just wantedto see a Showdown so I could see what kind of hands he was playing with in 3bet pots. I checked the flop so the pot wouldn’t go out of control early, the turn I felt as though he would be his entire range. The river I bet, as I felt his calling range would be ALOT wider than his betting range as there is no way I can have the Flush given how weakly I had played, he would know this as we have had alot of history. I can definitely play my hand as a Pair though, although not as strong as QQ in his view and when he shoves he looks VERY strong and a flush is definitely possible for him. However given that it is possible he can and I should be bet folding with pairs, I felt he would be doing this to get me off a pair. BINGO I was right, since then, the advantage has definitely gone in my favour.

Hand History 2

This hand was cool how it played out. I don’t like raising when it comes to me the first time, as I feel I only end up getting it in against the top of their ranges, and being so deep with the original raiser who has led into a lot of players he looks strong. I want to trap the players in between, when it comes to me the next time though, there is enough in the pot that I am always going to continue, I don’t like a call now, cause the turn I have to fold so often when I miss which aint no fun considering I’ve invested so much. Always nice to hit too.

Hand History 3

Calimero is an aggressive player, I don’t like 4betting and then getting it in against him so I just opt to play pokers. And the fact the other guy posted the BB I want him to be in the pot as he is likely bad. When the flop comes it is very dry, and as soon as Calimero checks he is weak, I could bet here, but I doubt I take it down very often. When P.O.AK bets so small, I don’t expect him to have much of anything, with Calimero calling, I feel he is just peeling with his A high and gives it up on the turn, but I now have a chance to look very strong, and I feel as though I can have them believe me to have a strong hand so a raise is looking good here, as I take it down as they always have a very weak hands. This plus the fact that the fact that I improve on 6 turn cards on the turn to a made hand + the ability to be able to shove any spade, K or T which are scary cards if they do call me (nearly half the deck!). If I am on autopilot I just give this turn up, but these are the spots where there is so much dead money and the fact that people do play SOO bad in 3 bet pots (me included) this situation and others like it are spots you must pick up on as they will add significantly to your win rate.

These hands are rather rambled but I am just typing without editing and in doing so, I hope my thought process becomes more precise and I will be able to have these type of blog posts looking a lot more tidier and shorter in the future.
