Thoughts on "Thoughts about Quitting"

This isn't really blog worthy, but I don't feel it's forum-worthy either.
Just kind of a side conjecture I've had that I thought I'd share (perhaps to my future self even):

I've found that when I first started playing a lot of situations arose where I wanted to quit poker.  Like, I would get really really close to just taking my money off the site and never looking back--All because of a couple bad beats in a row or being card dead for weeks, etc.
This happened less and less frequently the longer I've played, not because I've started winning (which I have but just barely), but I think because of a better understanding of...everything--oh and Tommy Angelo.
I haven't felt that insane desire to resign permanently from poker since sometime before black friday.  I dunno if anybody has ever classified levels of poker play by how long the intervals are between when people get that feeling or not.  But I definitely think it's evidence of improvement if you haven't necessarily been getting monetary results.
