Jan 3rd, evaluation & Secret HQ advert
I played one pretty good session at NL100 today and got myself onto two really juicy tables. Got my water, got my focus, and managed to take note of the players in the BB for >50% of my hands. Another great thing about this is that it makes you hyper-aware of any changes in the table-dynamic, which can make you a ton of money too. Tomorrow I’m aiming for a little more volume and a little more concentration.
I also just spent an hour analysing my play on the turn facing a raise with one of my Secret HQ buddies-, Simon. The spot has only come up in 15 hands over the last 6k hands or so, but it’s a definitely a situation you need to anticipate and play well because the pot usually gets pretty big after a turn check-raise ;)
