Chrome and goo.gl
This post will save you time. If you aren't using the Chrome browser from Google already then you might be beyond help; if you are, you probably aren't using the goo.gl URL Shortener extension.
The user-experience of the goo.gl URL shortener is exceptional. A button is installed by the navigation bar that provides and auto-copies (to the clipboard) the shortened URL. Pasting long URLs into emails, forums, and IMs was never so easy, neat, and tidy.
