My Mount Robusto platoon is global. We eventually managed to organise a home-game last Friday, but I managed to goof on the video (too long, too large, computer said no). Sadly, we only have hand-histories to go over. It wasn’t easy picking a time to play, as everyone is on a different schedule. Eventually we picked 6pm.
Well, that was 18h00 for me, anyway. It was 19h00 across Europe, 13h00 on the East Coast, 10h00 on the West Coast.. etc. etc. There was even discussion on Skype an hour before, “is it now, or in an hour?â€
And now I’m sat on Skype, 20 minutes after our platoon was supposed to be chatting with Joe Tall about the tagging we have done so far, and presumably our next assignment. Except, there is only one other guy waiting with me, and we aren’t even sure if it isn’t in 40 minutes instead. Life would be a lot easier if people made a habit of linking to a fixed time on timeanddate.com like I did above.
