I graduated from a top 5 engineering department in the UK, but am still finding it hard to land work. Just apply, apply, apply and apply. Hopefully you wont end up in my situation, I too was lazy applying for jobs during my courses. Recruiters can just be as picky as they want at the moment. Fortunately, I go to a good university so I shouldn't struggle for work, but I didn't do enough applications for internships! My plan is to have a choice between playing full time and working when I finish next summer. The job market is very tough at the moment. I graduated from my MSc in January with the top mark in the class but havent been able to find a job yet. Been to a few final stages, but sadly no offers.
