As I write this I'm exhausted, after being awake all night and having my biggest MTT score of my online career thus far. I just 4th'd the Nightly $50k (162 buy in - I satellited in... twice) for $4.85k. It still stings a little after running jacks into aces 4 handed with 40 bbs but such is life.

It couldn't have come at a better time either; I have been running like death for about a month now - serious downswongs, particularly in cash games. On top of that, I had expenses for travelling to Dublin for the UKIPT (I got to Day 2 and then got backraised in the weirdest spot 20 mins in to the day) - which sounds pretty weak as a complaint seeing as I got in for 30 odd euros, but still spent about £500 on the trip. I came back tired and dejected; although I did have the fine experience of meeting some really top MTT players such as LordGregoire, faaqs and YerSoLucky - so that was pretty sweet.

To be honest, I'm just happy to have ticked off one of my big goals for the year (I listed my 3 in my first post - think it was to satellite into a major live MTT [x], supernova [ ] and emotional control [meh]) - my Supernova quest is going decently. After dropping down from nl100 ( I ran 30 BIs under EV over 40k hands) my speed for reaching Supernova has declined, but I'm still way on course for my original goal of clearing it by my birthday (July 24th) so that's pretty good. In fact, I should have it done by July. I'm up to 70k vpps. Unfortunately I depleted my fpp funds a few weeks ago, but have about 50k knocking about for backup. My plan is to cash in some as a reward for Supernova - or maybe get a watch or some ball shit.

I'm supposed to go back to uni in October, and tbh I'm 80% I will; having said that I'm contemplating going to Thailand or somewhere cool for a month this summer and stay in a pokerhouse... if anyone has any rooms going and wants a fun room mate anywhere fun, give me a shout.

As it stands in 2012: BR: $7.8k (incl fpp value); cashed out $2k and won a package worth $1.2k - netting me about $11k profits for the year so far (since last week February when I had about 73 bucks in my account)
