Online Troubles

Recently, I've been incurring some online troubles. I mostly two tabling on .1 and 2. cent 6max tables on Full Tilt. For the past few days, I'm experienced some brutal bad beats. Most of the players I encounter are very loose and passive, so I assume the most profitable tactic against them is to simply play a tight range of hand pre-flop and value bet them to the ground when flopping a big band. However, these types of players manage to suckout on me. Oh well, it's just frustrating, but it doesn't discourage me from player. Even while taking such bad beats, I've managed to type my tilt level pretty stable. Also, just as additional information, according to PTR, I'm playing near optimal within this stake. I don't know what to think about that exactly.Â

I mildly been playing on UB this past week. It's been okay, I suppose. I'm breaking even for the time being. However, I'm continuing to watch the series "From the Ground Up." Must say, great series! Also, I've been getting involved in the forum more often.

Eager Days

Today, I implented some of the concepts from the series "From the Ground Up" in my .1/.2 NLHÂ six handed session. I didn't play for too long, but I had moderately good results. I mostly been following the raising and calling ranges the instructors of the series suggest in certain positions at the table. I'm on episode three right now which discusses flop play and reading board textures. I'm really eager to continue learning as much as possible to become a better player. Also, I've been trying to get invovled the forum discussions more. I posted a few questions already. Well, just staying positive.

Recently Added Video Series

Basically, I'm watching videos to improve my heads up and six handed no-limit hold'em game. The video series I've decided to add to playlist are: "Dogisheads Up" and "From the Ground Up". Both series are very informative and helpful. So much so, I bought a spiral notebook to write some of the hand ranges and the important conceptual ideas they mention. Overall, very excited I joined the site. Also, after viewing a few more episdoes from "From the Group Up", I'm going to play a short session. Hopefually I do well.

After my free seven day run, I decided to get a monthly subscription to the site. I'm honestly impressed with the information that is provided and the helpful coaching and instructions. I'm looking forward to learning and investing time into the site. Also, probably need to get involved in the forum discussion a lot more.Â
