Vegas, baby!
I’ve been thinking about going to Vegas this summer. My brother, who recently moved far, far away from will be going to play in a $1500 event at the WSOP, so I wanted to go rail him some, and of course, play a ton of poker myself. I really can’t afford to go, but what the heck. I can always tighten my belt after I get back.
When I go to Vegas I try to go as cheaply as possible. As long as I get there and have a roof over my head (on the Strip), I’m happy. With the help of Expedia.ca and VegasView.com, I found a return flight and room for around $500 ($370 total for a round-trip ticket from Toronto to Las Vegas on Delta, and $130 total for 5 nights at Bally’s). Sunday to Friday, to avoid the insane weekend rates.
That’s how I roll!
