10NL vs 2NL

A few interesting things have happened recently.  Firstly, I decided to just jump from 2NL to 10NL.  I had originally promised myself that I would grind 2NL for a while until I was sure that I was doing the right thing most of the time and my decisions were +EV, but then I changed my thinking and decided to play the stakes I was rolled for where I was going to learn the most, and that's 10NL at the moment.

What I found there was that the players are no better than  2NL, but they are bad in a distinct way.  As a beginner myself, I have no delusions that I am still a bad player and have a long way to go, but what is interesting about 10NL is that there seem to be a lot more bad aggressive maniacs than at 2NL which is dominated by bad passive calling stations.  So at 10NL I find my opponents shoving the river with busted draws which at 2NL they would check for example:

I swallowed hard before calling that, but I realised he was bad enough to make that play.

I like both flop raise and the call. Nh sir.

The sick thing is that from 2NL to 50nl it plays the same then from 50nl-400nl it gets slightly harder and only at 1knl do you get regulars who adjust properly (according to a friend who plays 400nl and to blah234 in one of his interviews I am pretty sure, might have been grindcore though)
