Starting over
The pc that I used to play poker on finally gave up the ghost, complete with my entire HEM database. This is probably a good thing as it was freezing up and disconnecting and generally inducing tilt. I've decided that since I've lost my notes, my hands etc that I'm going to start fresh, focus on 2NL (I had been moving up and down a bit) and try to just get better. I was doing ok at full ring, but I've decided to mainly focus on 6max as it challenges me more, gets me into more flops and as a result I feel I'm learning more. To enhance the "starting over" feeling, I topped up my BR to where it was when I started.
So far, it's a small sample but I'm learning a lot but having a bit of run bad. It will all even out eventually, and it will be fun when it does.
