DJ Cautious On Stars: The Worst Player In The World

Last week I was at the Pokerstars UKIPT Nottingham… It was so cool meeting with players who are on DC and other forums and the talk at the tables was really interesting ranging from state of games on the net to how to play hands in certain spots so I was glad to get out there. The Poker venue at Dusk Till Dawn in nottingham is the best I have been to in the UK. They really cater for the poker players and you can even get things like a laptop to use in the room to check out mail, news etc.

I played in the main event which was a 500 pound freeeout over 4 days. There was over 600 runners and first got over 80k. I for one am not a tourney player and I proceeded to play cash games while I was still in the tourney, playing 10 mins of the tournement every hour while getting stuck at a 2/2 plo game lol. I almost lasted the whole first day before busting out when I bluffed the nut flush into the guy who had the nut flush lol…

I did well in the side games winning in 5/10 NL (I dont even play NL anymore but just adopated a rock image and played supper tight). I also did well in plo before on the last night attempting a 3k bluff which got snapped off lol (see Plo forum where I posted the hand)

Ah thats life at least I was still up on the trip so I cant complain. I feel my plo game still has a lot of room for improvement and I am working on putting the hours in both live and online to get better. My results have been good both live and online but that could just be a case of running good so time will tell…

Now next stop is Vegas where I will be in town for a week to play the side games!!!
