DJ Cautious On Stars: The Worst Player In The World

What a week!!! Ive been playing PLO exlcusively for the past 3 weeks as I feel I enjoy the game more and the nitty state of NL games is very depressing. One may say this is because you are a FISH so obviously you will enjoy 4 cards more than 2 (which may be true lol) but I think its the chance to learn something from stratch where everyone is not an expert and there is action and complex decsions on each street. I still want to work on my NL game (and thanks very much to the DC members who contacted me privately to offer advice on my game) but I just need a break from it so I think I will come back to NL games after a month or so.

So how have I been doing at PLO? Live I play in a 5/10 Omaha game sometimes in London at the Vic Casnio where I watched and observe the play from the old timers. I am small up in that game with biggest win being around 5K pounds and biggest lost 4K pounds. However its full ring and plays very nitty so alot of the times it all depends on if the cards go your way.

I started playing online from last month where Ive mainly been playing on Euro sites. Ive been doing well on the Euro sites (playing 1/2, 2/4 3/6) and then once in a while taking the winnings from the Euro site to play on stars and full tilt. I must be jinked on the USA sites cos I can never win on then. It could be because I play bad on them but would love to ONE TIME.. Take 1k and turn it into 20K … ONE TIME PLEASE !!! lol

This week went like this .. win 2.5K on euro sites … lose 2K on USA sites….. Ive self excluded myself from the US sites for a week so i can focus on the Euro sites where no one knows me so I get more respect – Make me relise that IMAGE IS VERY IMPORTANT IN POKER…..

I like playing on different sites because if your running bad on one you can switch to another site and the players have no clue how you been playing that day.

One sick thing about PLO is this .. The sick sick sick bad beats that you give get and you recieve.. I had a hand which I won the other day where I had 4.6% equity on the flop… The Villian slow played his hand abit and i hit runner runner full house to win the pot.

But then on the flip side Ive had hands where I am a 90% favorite and I lose . What helps me get over tilt is everytime I suck out I run the equities on Poker Tools and write it down so that when I have a bad beat I can at least see that there are times where I have run like God also…

Anyway I will stop rambling on.. I going to take a 2 day break from poker.. recharge my batteries and come back next week!!!
