Review: AMT Last Man Standing #2
VIDEO #2
Early /Middle game – the non-push/fold aspect
Reads might exist at this point.
M * iddle starts level 3 and goes through 6 (100/200)
- Chips increase in value – go with it. Play more hands (not a ton) and be more interested.
- This is a level of adjusting.
- Player with short stack by short stack by level 3 either means they are good and got bad beat or mostly they are a bad player. Quickly look at a HH to make your own judgment on if they are good or not.
- Level of adjusting – open a few more hands.
- Most peeps think it’s still the early game
- Gap concept – takes better to call than raise and range opens up later in position with fewer opponents
- No more pocket pair absolutes. Limping may give chance to set mine, but NOT if table is aggressive.
- NEVER limp pairs for sets with less than 15BB.
- Pick on tight/straight forward players’ blinds
- If chance of a raise behind us probably should not bet pocket pairs in early position
50/100 LEVEL - AMT’s 12BB rule – there are times to open shove. Most know the 10x rules about shoving.
- 12BB is the same as 10BB basically as far as raising/shoving/calling
- Keep decisions simple – at 12BB if it’ close, Go all in
- Bet sizing is crucial – stack and pot manipulation.
- No more limping!!!
- Pay close attention to stack sizes!!!!!!! – END ALL BE ALL OF SNG PLAY
- Will be able to narrow ranges on stack sizes – no detailed reads at this point
- Don’t be afraid to overbet push and play for stacks here, but don’t be afraid not to. 88 and 99 are very strong versus calling ranges of people who are calling.
- When playing a short stack, they will basically be going all in if they raise so base decision on strength of your hand – not fold equity.
- NEVER limp pairs for sets with less than 15BB.
- STOPPED WATCHING AT 49:22
- As far as having the best hand, don’t make bet less than half pot because we don’t want peeps to catch a hand on the next card for cheap.
- Big stack mentality is important – they will call with wide range because they think that big stack should be the bully.
- Bet size, 130-135. @ 50/100

"As far as having the best hand, don’t make bet less than half pot because we don’t want peeps to catch a hand on the next card for cheap."
And to build the pot/get a bigger % of stacks in for our value hands!
This is a great idea man, I'm proud of you for taking this step. This is definitely going to aid in your thought process improvements. GL!
