One Last PUSH

I'm gonna take a couple days off, come back on Friday and give it one last go for the rest of the month. The bankroll is depleted, but dropping down doesn't do me any good. It's either be profitable by the end of the month, or get a job. It's nuts....8 days into the month I was @ my end-of-month goal and the future was bright. Typical me, continued to try to learn and wound up misapplying concepts...I believed in them though, and continued to push through even though the results were shitty because I didn't want to be results oriented....funny. Today, I spewed off another $800-900, but it was the first day I just really played like a phucken idiot. Just when I'd pull it together, I'd take a beat close to the money or something and come unglued. nii[c0[OICFPMJA[ScvnoIAVNC[Ocbnivcvq w7g9lcrinmh- 0s

Probably does you good to take a few days off when poker feels too bad. I think you might be setting yourself up for a failure if you continue to play on higher stakes even though your bankroll is depleted and you need to make money.

If you absolutely have to make money, stick with the lowest variance games you play well (practically, leave the larger field games). Large field games are great once you have time to succeed, but if you're 4-tabling and have 11 days to make money, I think the probabilities of hitting a nice payday from those is not that great.

Poker is a real brainfuck and it has it's ways of confusing people. At your stakes you can play well and lose 800-900 dollars a day easy. On the other hand, you can also play bad and win the same amount. Just knowing where your game stands when you can't trust results is hard.

Most def!!....crazy brainfuck...lol....thanks bro...

I played some yesterday, didn't show a profit but started to feel better about my play and my thought processes last night. I'm back today..well rested and focused.

If I play so my avg stakes is $20ish, I have about 100BI left. I'm gonna start the day by reading a little (but committing NOT to make drastic changes to my game), playing a small set of Super Turbos to get my aggression kicked in and then I'm going to play 1 perfect game to get my mind/confidence completely where it needs to be.

Bring on the rec players !!...run good!!

100 buyins is not a whole lot for 180s, actually it's damn little for 180s. I wouldn't play even at 18s with only 100 buyins. There's a choice, either grind like a madman at lower stakes with lower risk or grind less at higher stakes with considerably higher risk.
