July Goals Review/ August Goals
July Goals were:
Study: 80/20 play versus study. Yes. I did quite a bit of studying and also started coaching with Rapid Evolution. Although my results with Cash Games were a horrible, horrible disaster, the experience has helped me tremendously with SnGs. I'm going to continue to learn cash, it's just hard when 'm still in "I need to make money" mode. Review PNLH - Done Make 3 member vids - Done. Made like 10 member vids, but I can't upload them. Recording my play was a huge help. Volume: 10k hands per week. - I wound up @ 74k hands because I had to stop playing for a few days due to my initial BR busted. Putting in the hours and effort were not an issue. If anything, I didn't spend enough time away from poker, but I can't help but to feel like any time I'm not imporoving as a poker player make it more li kely I'll have to get a job. Obtain Platinum status - realized that this wasn't a great goal. Rakeback is better so started playing on FTP. Stakes: Ramp up to quickly and then beat 50NL - Geez, I'm a horrible cash game player and just thining of it makes my stomache turn. I turned it around via SnGs though. AUGUST GOALS:

Whatever is soft.
Mostly 9 % 18 man turbos. Ill play 27 man turbos if they look soft. I've played the 90 man KOs but find that my time is better spent playing smaller fields. I've played quite a few DoNs. In fact I just got accounts with Bodog and Carbon (Cake in the past) specifically because their DoNs look soft.
I prefer turbos over standards. My strength is going to be push/fold so I want the stacks to get short asap.
I'm historically terrible with BR Mgmnt, but plan to do much better as I try to make this my primary income. I'll play $6.5 - $50 if it looks beatable depending on where my BR is at that moment.
