I haven’t blogged in a while – so here is the state of my “game.”

• So, I’ve recently come closer to quitting than I ever have before. No sense going into all of the details because, well, everyone has enough of their own beats so they rarely want to hear about yours. The point being that I took some time away and now I have this calming sense of reality.
• It’s possible that I’m not smart enough.
• It’s possible that I’m not talented enough.
• It’s possible that no amount of ADHD med is going to allow me to have the sustained focus it takes to play a tourney and fight until I win 1st place – rather than lose interest around the Bubble.
• It’s extremely, extremely possible that I don’t value money enough to ever be really disciplined when it comes to my “bankroll.”
• It’s possible I won’t be able to make poker a full time income. AMT, Bones, and those guys are amazingly talented, driven, and really just cool as shit – you gotta have tons of respect for them and the way they’ve mastered their craft.
• It’s possible I’m always going work in a cube.

Ya know what, though, That’s OK. I’m good with that. So now, the pressure is off. Now I can play the game.

*The Mt Robusto concept is tha fricken BOMB! I’m with a REALLY cool group of guys. They all put a tremendous amount of effort into their learning. I’m gonna go ahead and go on record now saying that SOMEONE from our group is going to make crazy amounts of money playing poker. Then, maybe I’ll listen when that person tells me what an idiot I am when it comes to my BR…lmao. Like Tommy Angelo says, though, "your bankroll is an imaginary wall between some of your money and the rest of your money :) "

• OK, so, last night I’m sitting with like $350 in my FTP account and decided to play this $50 Rebuy because there was crazy overlay. I look to my left and see MoormanI, and I’m thinking that SN sounds familiar. I scanned the lobby real quick and saw daisyxoxox too. It must be a huge disadvantage for these guys to be so well known. Had I not recognized the name I probably wouldn’t have been quite so tuned in to notice how Moorman was shoving over limpers. I could hear AMT’s voice in my head saying something to the effect of “absent a specific read, you never want to limp AA. Then, I also heard him say something about the intricate math of chrysanthemum kaleidoscope blah blah blah” as the imaginary voice faded out like Charlie Brown’s teacher. …lol. Anyway, this was kinda cool for me, but somehow I’m thinking he couldn’t give a crap less about VegasBob911:

• I finished 7th of 584 players today in a $26 tourney for $511.50. That’s my biggest single cash so far. I felt like a bitch at the final table when everyone else was being so aggressive and I didn’t have any cards to fight back .

• I finished 16th of 651 players today in a $11 tourney for $35.81. Sick, sick, sick bad beat to bust out. If there is anyone who actually cares to hear about other peeps beats, PM me and I’ll send you the HH. It was awesome…lol.

• So, a couple of weeks ago I have my Stars account up to $1,400. I’d set $1,500 as the target for me to then take $500 and get a group of lessons from AMT again. I was $100 away from getting some more professional guidance…..then…..well…..I ran less than stellar. It’s going to be so much more fun now, though, to try to hit that target to get lessons now that my account consists of: $2.41, 7 SCOOP tickets, 2 Sunday 1/4 Mil tickets, some magic beans, and an Uncrustable. It’ll be…um….EPIC :)

• I’m sick, demented, I came to represent it
  I rose from the grave, I had a close shave
  Donks tried to lock me down because my Stars account is busted.
  But now I’m readjusted.
