Brag: Yesterday I played what I think might have been the single most important session I´ve played ever, and the one I played my best poker. Net result: + $1.97
What?
Yes, despite the session ending up BE, it was a very meaningfull result imo. If you check my last post you´ll see that I lost about 3 BIs and ran bad, which led to bad play. This session, not only I ran bad but I was being played back a lot. I played 4 tables today, and sometimes I was being 3bet at one table, 4bet at another and shoved in a third table. That was not the first time it happened to me, but my usual response to this kind of situation was to start overplaying marginal hands and tilting hard. If you check the graphic you´ll see that the first half of the session is diasater. But what made me think I played well was the fact that I was able (maybe for the first time) to keep foccused and playing my A-game. That reflected in the second half of the session, when I played a very good poker.
