playing a game for a living = +EV

So last Thursday I had a disgusting day where I lost like 15 buyins, first time thats ever happened 6max. I played pretty solid during the session, tilted off maybe 1 buyin at the end on an extremely questionable call, but otherwise just ran terribly. After this I went to the bars, and then Friday was extremely hungover, and tilted, so had to take the day off. Saturday I won like 5 buyins, then today i lost it all plus more. FML. I hate downswings. They hurt. I’m still up about 2200 on the month, but no where close where I want to be. Hopefully I can work through it and start pumping out some wins. I also haven’t logged as many hands as I wanted -only at 65k. So gotta work my ass off this 2nd half of the month.

I found a place to live in San Diego. Its baller. Move in date May 1st. I can’t wait. Gonna room with Joeingram1, I think it will be pretty beneficial to live with another poker player. well i’m going to sleep, wake up early tomorrow and do a poker reevaluation. try to figure out whats going wrong, look back at hands, come up with new strategies, maybe watch a few videos, and basically spend all day tomorrow working on poker, besides the time i go to work in a research lab. i think i might be getting sick, so that would be terrible. just sore throat and cold right now, so i should be able to play through it. But I’m mega super ultra tilted. and can’t play anymore today. kjlhklajklhgjhdg…
