playing a game for a living = +EV

So I just got done playing a hilarious session. I watched vital myths the big difference series tonight, all 4 episodes, and while watching had 1-2 tables of 100NL 6 max going, thanks to a suggestion in his video. I basically never play this few tables, and it was real nice. especially after 4 tabling rush poker for over 40 hours already this week. So anyways I got a little bored, so just talked in chat the whole time, saying random shit. One guy was a huge spewmonkey, saw him call a flop raise with an open ender, then check call a pot sized turn shove with the bare open ender, getting terrible implied odds. Later on in the game he decided to call an overbet ship on the rive of 77 dollars into a 44 dollar pot with QJ high on AN xxxKA board. LOL. so then i came up with the brilliant plan of getting him to play me heads up. Which he did!!! he fired up a 10 dollar HU SNG, which I hate HU SNGs, so I didn’t play. And I wanted to win a lot more than 10 dollars off of him. I was like no, I meant a heads up cash game, .50/1. And he agreed to it!!! I was sooo happy at this point. He bought in full! So the first hand he 3bets very small from 3 to 8 dollars. I had QJ offsuit so I made the call. Flop came QJ5. He fired, I called. TUrn came a 5, he fired, I made a comment in chat “what do you have” and called. river bricked, he bet 40 bux, leaving 9 behind, and folded to a shove. So I won 91 dollars from him the first hand. He rebought for almost full, might have been the rest of his bankroll, something like 80 bux. 10 hands later I get KQ sooted. I 3bet to 9 bux, he calls. Flop comes QJ8, 2 to a flush. I cbet, he calls. Turn comes an 8. I barrel, he shoves, I snap it off. He shows J6 offsuit!!! LOL. anyways, the river comes another Q, some added insurance, and he insta quit. so I won almost 2 buyins in 11 hands. I love being a decent heads up player. B/c now I can talk phish from 6max games into playing with me heads up! It was a very fun session. GG sir.
