I'm a n00b.

I still have sooooo much to learn. At least I’m starting to post in forums, and realize that I am capable of making very, very crappy plays in big pots. But the only way to improve is to realize where your leaks are and plug them up eh? 60 hours a week should do miracles, especially now that I’m constantly thinking about my game, tanking on most flops and really thinking about hand ranges, and not making snap dumb decisions anymore. I think I overanalyze hands some times. Its just going to take a whole lot of work.

At least at 100NL everyone is basically in the same boat as me. Some phish, but mostly regs with a ton of leaks in their postflop game. I am one of these leaky regulars. But if I can put in the time, I will be able to plug these leaks, slowly but surely. My game has already improved immensly in the past 3 days, due to taking more time to think about decisions. I won 500 bux in a few hours of play after posting this morning, and I’ve logged about 4000 hands today. The session where I won 500 bux was pretty flawless, some pretty decent play IMO. Just finished watching a newtdog video – where da coach at, and about to watch the 2nd in the series. I get back from campus around 6:30, at which point I will log another 1000 hands, watch lost, then try to log another 3000 hands, to reach my 8000 hand total today. Gotta do research again tomorrow from 3-6, but then I have Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday completely off besides poker, so I’ll have a ton of time to work on my game, and not have such jam packed days.

I’m still a regphish at 6max, but at least I’m a slightly winning regphish. I am beating the game for 1ptBB over 115,000 hands, and combined with rakeback, I’m making 35 bux an hour. Minus taxes. Made a little over 4000 bux this month so far, so not too shabby. But I’m essentially at rakeback pro level :( I think things are improving at a very quick rate though! And blogging my thoughts definitely helps me realize certain things about my game. Well I’m gonna go check in on my psych subjects, and watch a poker video. Hopefully I win some moneyz tonight.
