playing a game for a living = +EV

Well I’m up and ready for a fantastic day. About to go head to It’s a Grind, the coffee house down the street. I don’t usually drink coffee. But, had some yesterday morning, and it was delicious. And I normally get 8+ hours of sleep, and I’ve been getting about 6 the past few days.

Got a feeling I’m going to be able to play great today. I haven’t been up this early in a while. lol. I’ve been staying up till the wee hours of the morning, and getting up well after 6AM, since I usually go to bed a few hours before 6. I’m gonna post a few hands that I have questions about today. I gotta run some subjects for a psychology experiment from 1-5. This involves a bit of downtime, which I don’t really like using to play poker, as I constantly have to stop playing, and also I don’t like playing with small tables on my laptop – much easier to play at my house on my LCD on an extended desktop, so I can have all my tables on there and then my HEM and last hand histories on my laptop screen. But this is a great time for video watching – probably gonna watch some more newtdog videos, as they’ve been pretty helpful. And I’ll try to spend an hour posting on the forums during this time. I just need to find some headphones – I think either my closet, or my friend Melissa’s car ate mine.

Also, pretty excited for lost tonight! I’m kind of hooked on that show. Don’t ever tell John Locke what he can’t do.
