New Video Completed, NFL Playoffs, etc
Hey guys, decided to post a blog while relaxing after an enjoyable day of football. Both NFL playoff games today turned out to be pretty dramatic. I was hoping for Steelers-Packers and I got my wish, as I think they are the two best teams left, and also have a ton of tradition and history. It should be a real smashmouth game with a few fireworks thrown in - I am picking GB 24, PIT 20.
On the poker side, I have been doing pretty well lately - playing well despite my EV downswing, and having a few big days along the way. I'm not going to curse myself by doing something as silly as posting a mid-month graph, but it's one of my best months in a while (so far). I am mostly pleased not with the results, but by the advances in my play, and my improved volume this month. I am on pace for at least 75k hands played, which is respectable considering I also coach about 20 hours a month. I'd like to be getting more like 100k hands a month minimum, but I'm not quite on pace for that.
Besides grinding, I just finished recording a live play Rush video at 100nl. It should be released pretty soon, probably on a Sunday, so keep an eye out!
