Why I hate Tournies

Played in the big Sunday tournament on Cake today, $162 buyin. I almost never play MTTs even though I think I am pretty good at them (I was a sng and occasional mtt player for the first few years of my poker career.) I started off well, tripling up by busting Phil ‘Unabomber’ Laak and another opponent to triple up. I called a fish’s double barrel stack off with second pair to win another huge pot and was chip leader for most of the next 2 hours. Within about 5 minutes it all ended though.. I got AA (my first premium of the tourney) and was limp called by QQ who flopped a set on me to double up. This dropped me from 1st to 30th place. Soon after I had AQs… a TAG seeming opponent raised from CO to 2k, BU flats for 2k, I shove from BB for my last 19k. CO folds, BU calls with KQ for almost all his remaining chips. xxxxK board and I am on the rail 100 players from cashing. LOL donkaments. I am pretty tilted right now and don’t want to play any more today. The rest of this month I am going to grind hard though at 100plo and 100/200nl.
